We are delighted to announce that this year, The Liffey Trust Enterprise Centre has awarded three €10,000 scholarships to entrepreneurs resident in Ireland who are participating in Trinity College Dublin’s MBA programme.
The Séamus McDermott Scholarship for Entrepreneurship honours the remarkable legacy of Séamus McDermott and his contribution to entrepreneurship in Ireland. Séamus founded the Liffey Trust in 1984 with a mission to incubate, mentor, and support entrepreneurs and community enterprises, including the provision of office space and vital business guidance.
From the outset, the Trust made a conscious decision to finance all of its activities through its own efforts, without reliance on State support. Since its establishment, the Liffey Trust has supported more than 200 enterprises, helping to create over 800 jobs and generating a lasting impact on communities and the wider economy.
The Trinity MBA is an intensive, project-based programme designed for individuals seeking to accelerate their career path or transition into a new industry. Entrepreneurship lies at the heart of the Trinity MBA, with an entrepreneurial mindset woven throughout every module.
We are thrilled to announce this year’s three scholarship recipients:
