Another Milestone in Education: Mercy Secondary School Inchicore Completes STEM Room Refurbishment with Liffey Trust Support
The Liffey Trust is thrilled to announce the successful completion of the STEM room refurbishment at Mercy Secondary School Inchicore. This significant achievement marks the third school to benefit from The Trust’s dedicated DEIS (Delivering Equality of Opportunity in Schools) initiative, further solidifying our commitment to empowering students in Dublin’s Inner City.
Following a vital donation from The Liffey Trust, Mercy Secondary School Inchicore has been able to undertake a comprehensive modernization of their dedicated Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) room. By knocking the walls between two smaller rooms, this transformation has created a dynamic and engaging learning environment, equipped with modern resources to inspire the next generation of innovators.
This project is a key part of The Liffey Trust’s broader initiative to provide targeted support to DEIS schools within our community. We firmly believe that investing in high-quality educational spaces is crucial for unlocking the potential of every student and fostering a brighter future for Dublin’s Inner City.
This successful completion at Mercy Secondary School Inchicore joins the impactful work already finished at two other DEIS schools as part of this initiative. The Liffey Trust is immensely proud of the positive impact these projects are having on the educational journeys of students in our community.
We look forward to working with more schools throughout the year and continuing to support STEM education.
