As Chairman of The Liffey Trust, I am delighted to share some really great news.
Our founder Seamus Mc Dermott is to be awarded the honorary degree of “Doctor of Engineering” by the very university he attended all those years ago.

This is a very proud time for us in The Liffey Trust. Seamus has given so much of his life to helping entrepreneurs and for many years we have seen the difference he has made to so many. I myself was the first benefactor and will never forget the support offered by him in The Liffey Trust. It is amazing that UCD has also seen the exceptional contribution he has made and decided to honour him with this doctorate.
We look forward to celebrating with him here in the Liffey Trust in due course.
