A huge congratulations to Trinity College Dublin who have been ranked among the top 100 universities in the world.

Trinity College rose three places to reach 98th in the world, and, was named Ireland’s leading institution in the QS World University Rankings 2023.The improvement was due to a rise in citations (a measure of academic impact) across all three of Trinity’s academic faculties (Health Sciences, STEM, and Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences).

The rankings provide comparative analysis on the performance of the world’s top 1,422 universities in 100 countries.

 

The Liffey Trust’s partnership with Trinity College Dublin.

 

The Liffey Trust entered a partnership with Trinity College Dublin in 2017. The partnership entails 4 scholarships per year of €10,000 each for 10 years. The Dr. Séamus Mc Dermott MBA Scholarship is awarded to students who are proven entrepreneurs undertaking the MBA programme at Trinity Business School. The Dr. Séamus McDermott Scholarship for Entrepreneurship continues and honours Séamus’ work by supporting an entrepreneur who is resident in Ireland. This support will help to develop their business and managerial acumen by undertaking the Trinity MBA.

Nurturing entrepreneurship is at the heart of The Trinity MBA programme where an entrepreneurial focus is woven through every module. The Scaling and Social Entrepreneurship projects allow students the opportunity to help fast-moving NGOs and SMEs scale their international growth and solve strategic issues when financial resources are constrained.

Trinity College Dublin has a tradition of Innovation with Trinity graduates being ranked by venture capital organisation Pitchbook as the most entrepreneurial in Europe for the past four years. Trinity Business School’s strategy is to galvanise and build on this strength in all its activities. The partnership of the Liffey Trust and The Trinity MBA is therefore a natural fit.
